ABSTRACT:
SYMPTOMS:
constant dull ache
TREATMENTS/MEDICATIONS:
anti inflamatories, ati biotics, nerve block
OUTCOME/CURRENT CONDITION:
chronic case of blue balls
I had my vasectomy 17 years ago. The surgery was uneventful. Over the course of the last 17 years I had only noticed occasional dull aches that I wrote off as "blue balls". Ten years ago I found a small cyst on my left testicle. The urologist said it was not anything to be worried about. Two months ago I started feeling a constant deep ache in my scrotum. Mostly on the left side. The cyst is now tender and feels like I have something poking me it the testicle all the time. I went to a second urologist and he said this was phantom pain from my vasectomy and that testicles have a long memory for pain. I guess this is something you just have to learn to live with.
